In Italian, “Dono dal Cielo” means ‘Gift from Heaven’.

At Dono dal Cielo, we have dedicated our lives to the pursuit of that perfect harmony between earth, sun, and soil. In 2002, we took our first step towards this dream by planting 6,000 Zinfandel vines on 7 acres nestled in the picturesque rolling hills of Newcastle. It was truly a gift from heaven, which is why we named our vineyard Dono dal Cielo.

Growing a vineyard is a true wonder of nature. Our owner, Mim, describes it as “sitting at the bottom of a teacup,” and it truly is a phenomenon to behold and offers a stunning 360-degree view of the foothills. Mim sees the vineyard as a big growing garden that should be treated as a gift.
